Welcome to Porto Charming Suites — your home away from home in the heart of Porto.💫 We’re delighted to have you with us and want to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 🙏
To help ensure a harmonious and respectful experience for all our guests, we kindly invite you to take a moment to review the house guidelines outlined below.
1. Check-in & Check-out 🛎️ ⏰
Our standard check-in and check-out times are as follows:
Check-in: From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
That said, we are always happy to be flexible whenever possible.
Late Departures
If you have a late flight or train, you're very welcome to leave your luggage with us on the ground floor after check-out. We’ll be glad to provide you with an extra key so you can access the main entrance and collect your bags at your convenience. Please let us know, preferably one day in advance.
2. SEF Bulletin 🛂 📝
As required by Portuguese law, we kindly ask all foreign guests to complete the SEF (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras) registration form. Please fill out the form provided and place it in the wooden box on the ground floor, next to the main entrance of the house.
We would be grateful if you could do this on the day of your arrival. 🙏
3. Safety & Security 🔐 🆘
Your safety and peace of mind are very important to us. Please take note of the following measures in place:

Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are available on every floor.
No smoking is allowed indoors. 🚭
The main entrance is secured with a high-security key system for your protection.
If you need assistance or notice anything unusual, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at +351 938 920 159.
4. Noise & Quiet Hours 🤫 😴
To provide a restful and enjoyable stay for everyone, we kindly ask that you observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, keeping noise/voice levels low during this time.
Our home features elegant wooden floors, which, while adding charm, can also transmit sound. To preserve a tranquil atmosphere, we gently ask that you avoid wearing high heels after 10:00 PM and keep noise levels soft, especially during the night.
We respectfully remind you that parties and events are not permitted within the property.
For safety and privacy reasons, we kindly request that only guests registered through the AIRBNB platform access the premises.
5. Waste & Recycling 🍎 ♻️
At Porto Charming Suites, we are committed to maintaining a clean and environmentally conscious home. We warmly invite you to join us in these efforts during your stay.
We make it a daily habit to recycle, and you're most welcome to do the same.
Organic waste — such as fruit peels, vegetable scraps, and coffee grounds — may be placed in the compost bin provided. These can be added to our garden composter, which is always happy to receive your contributions! 😊
All remaining waste can be sorted and placed in the appropriate bins located on Maternidade Street in front of the house.
Your kind cooperation and thoughtful participation contribute to a more sustainable and harmonious environment — we truly appreciate it!
6. Towels & Linen Policy 🛁 🌱
As part of our commitment to sustainable and mindful hospitality, we kindly follow the practices below to reduce environmental impact while ensuring guest comfort:
For stays longer than 4 nights, towels will be refreshed after the 4th night.
For stays shorter than 4 nights, we are pleased to offer one complimentary towel change upon request.
Should you require additional changes, they may be arranged at a rate of €3 per towel.
We gently encourage you to reuse towels when possible, as every small gesture helps us care for the environment. Thank you for your understanding and support. 🙏
7. Laundry & Dryer Use 🧺 👕
To ensure fair and smooth access for all guests, we kindly ask that use of the laundry facilities be scheduled preferably one day in advance so we can give you all the instructions.
For stays shorter than 4 nights, guests are welcome to enjoy one complimentary wash and dry cycle.
For longer stays, up to two complimentary cycles per week are included.
Additional usage is available at a rate of €4 per machine (washing or drying).
For your convenience, detergent is provided.
We kindly ask that you avoid overloading the machines to help preserve their performance and ensure optimal results for everyone. 🙏
8. Drinking Water 🚰💧
We are pleased to let you know that the tap water in Porto is of excellent quality and entirely safe to drink. It complies with all European Union safety standards and is regularly tested and monitored by the local municipal authority.
We warmly encourage you to refill your bottles directly from the tap — a healthy, convenient, and environmentally conscious choice during your stay.

You'll find a small storage cabinet on the central staircase (2nd to 3rd floor) stocked with these items — feel free to help yourself!
Books, Games & More - "Feel Free Shelf"
You’ll find a small shelf with books and games on the main 2nd floor of the main staircase of the house. Feel free to help yourself and enjoy a quiet moment during your stay.
